time is slowly running...

A whole week with no updates. Well, lest try to catch up an easy way...

Tuesday, nothing, I cleaned my room.
Wednestay, my grandparents were here again. When I got home from school they were already here, chatting with Anders... We went to Culvers, got something to eat and went "shopping". Nothing special really.
Thursday, Kristin exscused me from school so I could have the entire day with my grandparents, cause they were still in town. They picked me up around 9, then I took them to the school and showed them around. After that it was breakfest at...... McDonalds... WOW ! hehe... And then they took off, so I had the day home alone instead. :P
I wanted to clean the house and that´s what I did, I felt really good about it untill Kristin got home and didn´t even notice. So I had to tell her what I did, and then she was really happy about it :D
I also met a new kid on Thursaday. One of Stefans friends, Cody. He´s a proffesional roller-blader, and a funny kid. When he laughs it´s like "Huh! Huh! Huh!" - it´s really funny :P
(Hey, I haven´t talked about the other friends I´ve met... Alex and Mitch. Hm, OK. They are both friends of Anders´. Mitch is the fat and rude kid, while Alex is really nice. Alex is the friendly guy who thinks I´m retarded. It´s like he says something and then asks me if I understands it. So I had to tell him that even though I´m from Norway, I´m not stupid. And now we´re OK, talking all the time and he´s really nice and funny)
Friday, Mr. Wallner has big plans and expectations for me, and I´m not sure if I´m able to do it. :S Which sucks btw
Saturday, Kris and I went to a baby-shower, and it was really boring. I think it´d be better if I knew the girl or if I was at the same age and in the baby-fase, you know.
And I cut my bangs again.

Sunday, today...
We went motorcrossing today. Or we tried to, Dave, Lars and I. Anders was stayed the night at the grandparents, but he was supposed to meet us at the track. He didn´t show-up. (And even if I say we went motorcrossing I don´t mean we all drove. I watched, for now. We´re planning on getting in touch with somebody that has a forwheeler, cause then I can drive too :D) Ok, anyways... We were suppose to leave at 9, at 9.22 we left. And when we got there Lars´ bike wouldn´t start. So it was some chaos, people trying to help and people having meanings and oppinions about what to do and what not to do.
Well, after an hour, they fixed it. Dave and Lars took of. One lap and then Dave had to stop cause he´s tire was flat. Totally flat.
So he took Anders´bike, cause he wanted to drive. (It was their last time for the season so they really wanted to drive as much as possible.) Well, After one lap the silencer fell off, so that bike wasn´t working either...
And Dave had to be back by 2, cause he had some place he needed to be. Two guys wanting to ride, three bikes and only one working and less than one hour left.
Thay had to take turns, but it was fun.
There´s this big jump thing, called the tabletop, it´s 88 feet, and on the other side it´s just all mudd. So it´s a tricky jump, you need high speed to get up and to jump it, but then you need to slow down like crazy or you´ll end up stuck in the mudd.
Dave have done it two times before, but it was Lars´ first time and it was crazy. He was standing straight with his bike right before he landed and it looked like it would end very bad, but he did it. He didn´t fell or crash.
(I´ll post videos and pictures sometime later, but my camera is out of battery right now, so... stick around. I don´t have a video of Lars doing the trick btw, cause I didn´t know he was gonna do it. He didn´t even know it himself, he decided just a couple of seconds before... :P)

Stick around ;D

Explanations time after time

A part of the EF program is that every exchange student have to get involved in something after school. That is how we are suppose to make friends and how we are going to be busy. I haven`t done anything any after-school-activity and I`m perfectly fine just the way it is, at least for now.
I love how things are. I get up early, (which is the worst thing, ever), take a shower, eat breakfest, talk to Dave, read the newspaper and then it`s school. There isn´t a lot of time to talk to other people and that`s something that makes it kind of hard to make friends, but at the same, I don´t have time to hang out with friends.
I go home in my lunchtime, because I don`t have cash right now to buy food at school. Going home every lunchbreak might be a reason why nobody is talking to me, but that`s ok for now. I`m not ready for a big entrance right now.
After school, around 3.30, when I get home there`s always somebody home. It`s so nice coming home and Anders, Stefan or Dave are alreade there. We`ll eat, talk or go out to do something and it`s just so nice. Either we watch a movie, eat ice cream, drive around or go up to the hanger...
And around 5/6 Kristin comes home and then it´s another person to talk to. She start making dinner, but I always end up finishing it and then Lars gets home.
When there`s too many people in the house Anders leaves, so it´s never all 6 of us eating dinner together, but it`s still nice `cause it`s never the same people eating. Or, Dave, Kris and I are eating together every day, but some days Stefan eats with us, sometimes it`s Lars and sometimes it`s Anders.
After dinner everybody does homework, while Kristin does laundry and Dave "fix" the house :P
And then it`s Jay Leno on TV. That´s a tradition Lars and I have. (Can you call it a tradition after only two weeks??)
Anyway, every day ends with me and Lars watching Leno and teaching each other funny useless stuff.

Well, that´s how every day goes by. Weekends doesn`t have a ritual yet, other than
SNL on Saturday (well, du´uh :P) and pancakes on Sundays, for breakfest and that every kid (except me) sleeps untill noon. I get up at 9/10. I´m the "good" kid :P
Yes, that´s true mom. I´m one of the first people to wake up on weekends. I really don´t sleep that much, only five hours on weeknights and eight hours during weekends, but I eat. A LOT.That might be what gives me all that energy, cause I eat a lot of healthy food. Only fruit for breakfest and lunch, leftovers when I come home from school and then it´s dinner. Oh, I eat a lot of ice cream. Maybe every other day, that´s not that healthy :S but it tastes delicious :D

Ok, I don´t have friends, other than my family and Anders´friends. But that´s all I have time to, and they are just fun being with... no need for other friends right now, and other people at the school aren´t ready for another person either so...

So that´s how my new lifestyle is like, and I really like it. Maybe because it´s all new and exciting or maybe it was all ment to be this way.

Suddenly Monday

Today´s monday again and that means school. Monday is never fun, and school is never fun, but today it was kind of fun. Actually it was really fun, a lot of funny things happened...

I told you about the girl in my chemistry class, well I changed my chemistry and there´s an other funny "girl" in my new chemistry. It´s a actually a boy, but he is BIG TIME gay, so feminine and he´s brain does not work, at all. He thought that the square root of 13 was 5... Hello, even I know that the square root of 13 is not 5. I don´t know what it is, but it´s not 5 :P

I also though maybe I would get a friend today, because when I was at my locker changing books and stuff there´s a girl coming over to me.. And she´s is all like "Hello, how are you?" and I´m trying my best to answer her and smile and be all happy and cheering, but she just stopped talking. She was just standing there looking at me, then she said "Are you bi´?" And I answered her with "No", looking kind of confused and stuff. So she just stopped and walked away.
That was my new "friend"... hehe :P

So yesterday had no meaning, because no matter how hard I tried, I couldn´t get to write my stupid papers. So in the evening Anders, Lars and I watched a football game, I finally get it now :P, it was Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers (I´ve been to a Packers game btw...) and the Cowboys totally kicked the Packers butts and it was getting really late and I thought about getting to bed, but the homework thoughts came to my head but anyway...
After the game we decided to watch a movie (hehe), Pick a destiny, a totally strange weird mad movie about two people trying to find the devil or something so that they can create good rock music. But it was during that movie that I actually managed to do my homeworks. I wrote a 4-page essay and a 4-page response paper, and it was so easy. Hopefully it´s not as bad as I think it was... oh well...

Lars and I just watched Jay Leno, and it´s a lot more fun, than I thought it would be. I really like Leno now... :P
Lars and I talked about funny things about Norway and America. Like Norwegian words directly translated like "the big-thing" Stortinget. hehe
And this jokem you have to say it, not just read the words to get it
"If you´re Russian when you´re going into the bathroom, and you´re Finnish when you walk out from it. What are you when you´re in there?"
- European (like, you´re peeing ) Haha, it was really funny :P

Another "word" that he had a hard time to understand when he first got to the United States "Witchadidcha" which actually mean "with you, did you" or if you say it in more slang, "with ya, did ya"...
"You didn´t bring the truck witchadidcha?" Haha, funny too :P

So my mom wanted me to post some pictures of the school and I didn´t exactly know what kind of pictures she wanted or what she wanted to see, so here´s the hallway with some of the lockers and then it´s a classroom

DISTRACTIONS

Today has been a total joke.

Sleep tight...

there´s a fish somewhere

It´s 3 o´clock I still haven´t done anything yet. I tried to do some homework but I couldn´t find anything to write about.
Anders and I were gonna watch a football game but I gave up that too. I still don´t get it, it´s so hard. He´s gonna teach me football and I´m gonna teach him baseball :P

Today´s happy news is that Lene is thinking about buyin a fish or two.. And I had the ultimate name ideas...
Bob & Camilla.
And I think Lene thought it was a good idea, so by the end of this week maybe there´s a fish named after me :D That´s awesome.

some old thoughts...

So I went through some of the stuff I brought with me from Norway, and it was a piece of paper with something I wrote for a long time ago. Somehow it thought it was some kind of good, so I figured why not let everybody else read it too.
It´s kind of weird and maybe personal, so if you don´t like don´t tell me :P Don´t mention it at all btw.
Very very much inspired by "I´m Ready" by Jack´s Mannequin.

And today was a day just like any other. I put on the same clothes I wore yesterday. The society has desided that we have to change and wash our clothes after every indiviual use. If it´s not dirty I´m gonna wear it.
I need coffein in my bloodstream.
Me life is becoming a boring popsong that everyone can sing along to.
I´ve desided to change my life into som kinky rocksong or something like chocolate.
I wasnt to have different day plans. I get up, take the bus to the city, go to Starbucks and go to school.
I´m a balloon without air. It´s impossible for me to fly and spread my wings.

And today was a day just like any other. I woke up, got dressed, got to school, listened to silent teachers and learned how to act around V.I.P peeps. Got home, drew some drawings, put them on my wall and felt lost in a world that is so small.
Feel people laugh at you, feel their devil minds follow you when you walk by... It´s not easy to live the same day every day. Feel the same loneliness, the same gladness, the same love and the same old coldness bite your heart.

Today wasn´t a day just like any other. And that´s great you know. To feel so loved, lucky and in love. To live, and no mather what you do, you get support from everyone around you.
If I said "jump". Would you have done it?

Listen to the song !

Angels and Airwaves (8)

Sunday morning rain is falling....

Ok, so some things I forgot to write down.

On Friday, Kris, Dave & I went to the movie theatre. We were gonna watch Mamma Mia. So were going in, take our seats and the movie is about to begin. Blablabla...
And maybe 30 min, out in the movie Dave noticed that he´s the only man in the audience. So he gets a bit embarrased and tries to hide his face. And the movie continues and then guess what...?
At some point Kristin and Dave found the movie kind of sad, so they were sitting there wobbing like crazy... Hehe. It was kind of funny you know :P

Another thing I forgot to tell you...
Yesterday when my grandparents left, Kris, Dave & I went to an art studio. We kind of knew the guy whose studio it was, so we went to see all of his art work.
He´s an incredible artist. He´s into abstract art, and his painting are HUGE ! and with tons of bright bright colors.

And it was a big big painting. Black and white that I just totally fell in love with :P And it costs $ 15.000, which isn´t that much actually for a piece of art that big...

That was it, hopefully something special is gonna happen today so that the blog tonight is more interesting than the last few posts...

the chocolate visit...

So today my grandparent came to visit. And they brought a lot of chocolate. A LOT !
I got 4, Lars got 4, Kris & Dave got 6, Anders got 3 and Stefan got 3. That was 20 chocolate bars :D
AND smash candy and Stratos kosepose (x2) That was awesome !

I thought that they would spend the day up here, but they came, I showed them my school, we went out to eat lunch and then they were off. It was nice seing then again, but I thought maybe we had some more time...
We had a good time :D

Oh, I haven´t told about that girl in my old chemistry class. I don´t know her at all, and she was like the total freak, or like one of persons Pink makes fun of in her Stupid Girl music video.
She said "Oh my God. I totally ate a 3.000 calories cookis... And homecoming is like in only three weeks. I´m gonna look soooo fat! That is not sexy at all!"
I thought she was just making fun on girls like that so I started to laugh. And then she looked at me and made it very clear that she wasn´t joking. That made it so much funnier and I couldn´t stop laughing and it was just killing me cause I couldn´t laugh :P

I am having some sort of trouble with what to write and what kind of pictures to post, so it would be very very helpful if somebody could tell me what they wanted to see / hear about and then I´ll try my best to do it :D

I miss Freia oh wait, no, now I have Freia

NEW LAYOUT

NEW LIFE, NEW EXPERIENCES,
NEW MOTIONS, NEW LAYOUT...
Don´t like it ? Not my problem :D

ENJOY <3

everything´s gonna be alright..

Ok, so after a little "breakdown" everything is back on track.
Pre-calc & C.P. chem is now algebra & regular chemistry. Which is a good thing, ´cause now I don´t have all these homeworks or that much trouble with it.

Yesterday I had a math test, even though it was my second day in that class. And I was the first person to hand it in, so I got this "bonus-test" which can give me extra credit and stuff and I managed to do that one too before the end of that class. And that´s a good thing, hopefully it went as good as I feel/hope it went.

When I got home from school, Anders was home & nobody else... And then Dave came home... And he had an awesome idea. That we could go flying. And so we did.
Dave, Anders & I flew all over Madison and even all the way up to the Dells. Unfortunately my camera died so I didn´t get to take a lot of photographs, but I don´t think that´s the last time we´re gonna go flying.

On the day after tomorrow, Saturday, my grandparents are gonna come visit me. They came all the way from Norway, just to say hello. :D
Haha, just kidding. They have some friends in Chicago that they´re staying at, and they brought Norwegian chocolate and cheese :D
I think everyone around this house is looking forward to this Saturday. I know Lars is really looking forward to get the chocolate, and I think Stefan and Anders are excited too.
Kris & Dave are more happy about the cheese, and the fact that my grandparents are actually coming up here.
And I just happy cause everybody else is happy, and I get to eat chocolate, and cheese, AND see my grandparents again.

Did you know? That I´ve been away from home for over two months.
I didn´t think that it would go so fast. The two weeks at camp went by like a snap, and then the month I spent up north did NOT go around so fast. Then it felt like everyday was taking forever, but now thnigs are going so fast and it´s always something happening, and if it´s not, then I´m probably sleeping...
I really think this year abroad is gonna be a really good year. :D

Today at school we took pictures for the Norse Star. That´s the schools newspaper. Elise, Emmanuel and I, the three exhange students the school has went outside to do a photo shoot, and it was soo fun. I´m not a tall person, as everybody already know, so on every picture I was stretching, standing on something and on some photos I was also jumping :P
Another thing we did was to take pictures by the school welcome sign, and we didn´t think it was that big, but I was absolutely perfect for me to rest my head on.... I could barely take my head on the top if it actually. Hehe... What to do about my height, huh?

Since I´m getting up at 6.30 am every morning, I have a lot of spare time, so I take a lot of pictures on my web cam, so if you want a picture of me, let me now..Hehe, it sounds like I´m a big fan of myself... Anyway, I have a lot of pictures of myself, and I don´t know what to do about, cause I don´t want to delete them :P soooo..... yeah.

Blogging is fun,
you should try it (Y)

tired tired school tired...

So 7 days of school and almost two weeks in this house.
The school is really hard,I mean C.P. chemistry.... Chemistry for college prep. is so difficult, but hopefully it´s only the vocebulary that makes it so challenging.
I´m gonna talk to my guidence counselor tomorrow, so maybe she knows how to solve it.

I´m really tired, waking up at 6.30 AM everyday, then school from 8.00 to 3.30... It´s so exhausting. The first thing I do when I get home after school is to fall asleep, even if I don´t mean to.
I had a history test today, about the revolutionary war. And last night, Dave & Kristin helped me study, it was so nice. We sat down, Dave took my textbook read it all and then Kristin "translated" it to easier english, and then I took notes... I hope the test didn´t go that bad, specially since they helped me, and it was my first test. The rest of my history class have had it for a week more than me, but hopefully it went well.

I don´t know what to write about, cause I don´t have the time to write everyday,... so unless there´s something special happening I don´t know what to write.

On Saturday or Sunday Lars, Anders, Dave, Kris & I were going to a barbecue. Dave & Kris drove the truck and then Lars, Anders & I took the other car. When we were almost there, a police car came and puled us over. With lights and sound, it was really fun :P hehe...
Policeman: Hello, is this your car?
Anders: No, it´s my mom´s.
Policeman: Ok, do you know why I stopped you?
Anders: No, because you wanted to? Maybe you were out of donuts?
Policeman: ha ha. NO! You license plate expired in May.
Anders: Oh, how was I supposed to know that? It´s not my car.
Policeman: I don´t care ! Do you have a valid drivers lisence?
Anders: Yeah, of course...
The policeman takes the card, goes back to his car, checks it and then gives Anders a bill to pay within the next two weeks.
The policeman was like the policemen you see on TV. Those who only sit in their cars, eating donuts all day. He was like that, and with no sense of humor. At all! :P
(And Anders wasn´t as ruse as it seems like. It was more funny things.)

Anyway... don´t know what else to say... I´m having a good time, I´m tired, but still good.
Hopefully you´re OK too (not that I know exactly who you are, but I think I know you... Anyway, tell my how things are going) :D
That was weird...

Sleep when you
have the opportunity !
:D

flotters toppers...

Hello hello everybody. Good news travels fast right?
......

This is the happiest post ever to be posted I think, at least for now. First I ended up with a crappy family in Lena, but after a lot of phone calls, angry people, complaining and a little bit of hope I am now in Madison, WI. New family, new school and hopefully some friends. My new family is the Pernic parents (Kristin & Dave) and the Wild kids (Lars, Anders & Stefan). This is really the family I wanted and I am loving every moment of it.

Just some pictures of the kids :P
Lars, Anders & Stefan

Today was my first day at school and it was kind of boring. Nothing really happened, I walked from class to class, watching people having their homework tests and then it was another class. My house is only 3/400 m. away, so during lunch time I walked home to eat something.
Anders´ birthday was today too btw, and the entire family forgot. Poor kid, but I remembered :D
And Stefan, Mitch, Anders & I went to "Culvers" to eat ice cream. It´s the best. Starbuck goes to coffee the way Culvers goes to ice cream. <3>On Saturday we went to the Farmers market, Monona terrace, Iron Man, the mall & Dave´s sister held a happy birthday party for Anders and Dave and a welcome to the family party for me. It was really nice.

Sunday, do not forget Sunday! Kristin is used to having only boys in the house and they don´t do anything to help, so she didn´t want me to do anything. She woke me up in the morning and told me that it was pancakes for breakfast. After that I could do whatever I wanted, whether I wanted to go back to bed, take a bike ride to the city, watch a movie... Whatever I did was fine, she didn´t want my help when I offered. And during the day (I spent that day preparing for school and making the powerpoint thing I needed to do) she came knocking on my door and gave me food. Some freshly cut melon, a cake bite and stuff like that. It was amazing.

This is just like heaven <3
